Community leaders, the Ministry of Education, and SCW jointly identify high-need areas.
SCW leads design with input from all stakeholders—ensuring local relevance and best-in-class building standards.

Clear commitments from SCW for design, material quality, and construction oversight; the municipality for site provision and contractor payment; the community for labor and post-construction maintenance and the Ministry of Education for qualified teachers.
Materials are stored securely and inspected, and communities contribute volunteer hours.

Severely damaged by a 7.1 earthquake —students crammed into unsafe classrooms for 3 years.

SCW partnered with the Spanish Red Cross to construct 10 schools, including an all-girls school and eight primary schools

Children with disabilities were hidden or left unserved.
IMPACT
SCW’s inclusive center provides diagnostics, therapy, and small-group instruction for over 100 children—empowering families and reshaping futures.
Every dollar we receive, we maximize by finding ways to leverage your donations. How? We partner with local volunteers, government agencies, and NGOs that commit to matching donations or putting up the remaining funding and resources we need. That means for every dollar you raise, we can use that donation to double your impact.
