SCW’s mission is to work in partnership with the private, public, and non-profit sectors at local, national, and international levels to create quality learning environments in developing countries.

Basile Moreau is a highly respected school, located in the slum neighborhood of Carrefour in Port au Prince, Haiti. The original three-story building completely collapsed in the 2010 earthquake. To date, we have completed the building and renovation of more than 125 schools. SCW currently operates in three regions around the world. Central America, Africa, and the Caribbean.

SCW USA is committed to providing educational opportunity in underdeveloped countries with quality school facilities by working in partnership with the private, public, and non-profit sectors.
2005
Run solely by Canadian volunteers, SCW Canada's mission is to empower children and their communities in developing countries through the provision of new school facilities and quality education.
SCW Germany
SCW Germany works with local communities to self-develop quality school facilities with a goal to help community members use the experience to make further improvements to their communities.
2004
SCW Honduras' mission is for the efforts of all SCW organizations to become self-sustatining within Honduras, with a focus on in-country leadership.
Schools for the Children of the World works in partnership with these organizations to create quality education in developing countries.
